资源简介:
Small RNAs play a major role in suppressing host defense pathways by post-transcriptionally regulating gene expression pathways. Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), transmitted by Bemisia tabaci (MEAM1) is a complex of geminiviruses infecting tomato cultures worldwide. Here, we were interested in the differential expression of small RNAs secreted by the whiteflies and into the plants, when infected with TYLCV. Overall, 132 conserved miRNAs were found and 171 were newly described, and 1531 novel siRNA were predicted. This study provides a better insight into how TYLCV infection manipulates the small RNA expression and the regulatory pathways involved in the whitefly-virus interaction based on their targets.
