Effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on suicide mortality in Brazil: an interrupted time series analysis

The databases consist of records of suicide fatalities, classified under ICD-10 codes (X60 to X84 and Y87), extracted from the Mortality Information System of the Department of Informatics of the Brazilian Unified Health System (SIM/DATASUS). The data corresponds to the period from January 2017 to December 2022 and is stratified by sex according to geographical region, age group (ranging from 10 to 14 years to 60 years or older), race/skin color, and method.
