The mutation profile of cytogenetically normal and Trisomy acute myeloid leukaemia (CN-AML and Trisomy AML) in Hong Kong, was lacking, in which the CN-AML is the largest cytogenetic group while Trisomy is also another large cytogenetic group in AML. This study aimed to characterize and establish the mutation landscapes of CN and Trisomy AML at diagnosis based on next generation sequencing (NGS) in young and fit patients receiving conventional chemotherapy and allo-HSCT in Hong Kong, this enable us to compare the mutation landscapes and treatment responses with those of overseas results and investigate their impacts on leukaemia remission and overall survivals in order to improve prognostication in distinct AML subtypes at diagnosis and early post HSCT. The information will also provide guidance on the decision of allo-HSCT at CR1.Continuous monitoring of MRD is important in the management of AML. While consensus has been reached for the timing of MRD detection during or after induction and consolidation chemotherapy in AML, the schedule of MRD detection post HSCT is less well defined. This is important, as leukaemia relapse post HSCT is associated with grave prognosis and very limited treatment options. This study also aimed to establish a sensitive patient specific platform for the detection and monitoring of MRD based on droplet-digital PCR early post HSCT and investigate the impact on leukaemia remission and overall survivals.This dataset include the clinicodemographic features, mutational data at diagnosis and treatment outcome of the CN-AML and Trisomy AML cohort. This dataset also include the clinicodemographic features, MRD markers selected and the post HSCT MRD results of the AML post HSCT MRD cohort.
