Data and code for cross-species lens transcriptomic analysis of inflammatory and remodeling responses relevant to posterior capsule opacification

This record contains processed transcriptomic analysis matrices, derived result tables, panel-level figure source data, orthology mappings, and R and Python code for a cross-species study of post-surgical lens responses relevant to posterior capsule opacification. The materials support analyses of human-mouse ortholog directionality, Hallmark and Reactome module enrichment, complete leave-one-donor-out stability, gene-set member-removal sensitivity, and contextual evidence from public human, mouse, rat, and chick lens datasets. The deposited outputs document broad inflammatory concordance and a compact EMT/ECM/wound-remodeling signal, including a two-module core retained across all 34 donor-deletion refits and a 12-gene full-data reference set whose apparent pathway breadth partly reflects gene reuse across overlapping gene sets.
