Phantom measurements - CSV

This dataset contains material characterisation data from a series of optical reflectance measurements. The data is provided in both .csv files, containing mean reflectance values from specific Regions of Interest (RoIs), and .tiff image files from the corresponding measurements. 127 wavelengths, from 385nm to 1015nm in 5nm intervals. Please refer to the readme.txt for more information. Material Characterisation: PMMA & Tape This section focuses on characterising Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) acrylic sheets and a specific type of tape against a reflective background over 127 wavelengths. Full Plastic: A PMMA sheet covers the entire Field of View (FOV). Half Plastic / Half White: The FOV is split, with one half covered by a PMMA sheet and the other half showing the uncovered reflective background. Tape Only: The FOV is covered by a 100-micrometer thick tape with a PVC backing and acrylic adhesive. Data Format: .csv files. Chemical and Biological Phantom Measurements These experiments measure the reflectance properties of various solutions and mixtures within a phantom, which is a device used to simulate tissue properties. PpIX and Fluorescein This experiment measures the mean reflectance of two fluorescent compounds. Setup: Protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) was placed in the bottom center of the phantom, and Fluorescein was placed in the top channel. Data Format: .csv files. Ink and Intralipid 20% This experiment measures reflectance from different concentrations of ink mixed with Intralipid 20%, a fat emulsion used to simulate light scattering in tissue. Setup: A solution with a lower ink concentration was placed at the bottom of the phantom, and a solution with a higher concentration was at the top. File Naming: Filenames indicate the specific ink concentrations used, measured in microlitres (µL). Data Formats: .csv Ink, Intralipid 20%, and Yeast This experiment involves a mixture of ink, Intralipid 20%, and yeast. Setup: A solution containing yeast was placed at the bottom of the phantom. Ink was added in 2µL intervals, and yeast was added in 0.1g intervals. File Naming: Filenames specify the amount of yeast and ink in each measurement. Data Format: .csv files.
