Insecticide resistance in the olive fly, Bactrocera oleae

In this study, we conducted whole body and tissue specific transcriptomics, to analyse pyrethroid resistance identified in olive fruit flies populations from the field. We subsequently expressed in vitro and functionally characterised four cytochrome P450 genes associated with the phenotype. RNAi was used to validate the in vitro evidence in vivo.
