Integrated 16S rRNA sequencing and RNA-seq datasets from DSS-induced colitis mice treated with engineered probiotic yeast

This dataset contains integrated 16S rRNA gene sequencing and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) data generated from a mouse model of dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis treated with an engineered probiotic yeast strain (SB12), wild-type Saccharomyces boulardii, or control conditions.The 16S rRNA sequencing data were obtained from fecal samples to characterize gut microbial community composition, including relative abundance matrices of microbial taxa. RNA-seq data were generated from colonic tissues to profile host gene expression changes, provided as processed gene expression matrices (normalized counts).The dataset includes abundance matrices, gene expression matrices, and associated sample metadata describing experimental groups. These data were used to assess microbiota alterations and host transcriptional responses following SB12 treatment, as described in the corresponding manuscript.This integrated dataset supports analysis of host–microbiome interactions and provides a resource for studying multi-omics responses to engineered probiotic intervention in inflammatory bowel disease.
