PSK Baseline Encrypted\u2013Decrypted IoT\u2013Edge Communication Dataset (ESP32 + DHT11 \u2192 Raspberry Pi 5 over MQTT)

This dataset contains 6,500 encrypted\u2013decrypted IoT\u2013Edge communication packets collected from a real hardware testbed using a baseline Pre-Shared Key (PSK) security model. An ESP32\u2013DevKitC node equipped with a DHT11 sensor transmitted AES\u2013GCM\u2013encrypted MQTT packets to a Raspberry Pi 5 edge server through a Dockerized Mosquitto broker. Each packet includes ciphertext, IV, authentication tag, timestamps, payload size, and computed server-side metrics such as latency and throughput. The dataset enables benchmarking of lightweight cryptographic protocols, IoT telemetry performance, replay behavior, and end-to-end communication characteristics under static PSK encryption. All logs are stored in CSV format and aligned through synchronized timestamps to support reproducible analysis for research in IoT security, edge computing, and cryptographic performance evaluation.
