资源简介:
Ovulinia azaleae is a pathogenic fungus that severely damages plants in the family Ericaceae, primarily infecting floral organs and significantly reducing their ornamental value. The pathogen produces sclerotia with strong stress resistance, leading to difficult control, high destructiveness. The strain CBS 680.88 is derived from the Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS) in the Netherlands. This fungus is an important quarantine pest for imported plants in China. This study aims to obtain high-quality reference genome sequences (CBS 680.88), and analyze its gene composition and expression regulation, providing a basis for exploring its pathogenic mechanism and developing control strategies. Both second-generation sequencing and transcriptome sequencing utilized the DNBSEQ platform, while third-generation sequencing employed the Nanopore PromethION platform. By integrating DNBSEQ short-read and Nanopore ultra-long-read data, a high-quality and high-continuity reference genome assembly of Ovulinia azaleae CBS 680.88 was expected. These datasets will facilitate the identification of potential pathogenicity factors, virulence genes, and drug targets.
