Supplementally data for the paper of b-values depending on stress heterogeneity
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides the digital data of the points shown in Figures 1a, 1c, 2b, 4b, 4c, and 5b in the paper entitled “Stress Heterogeneity May Explain Strain Rate Dependency of b-values of Oceanic Intraplate Earthquakes” submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth (Sasajima & Ito, 2026). Figure 1a: b-values of oceanic intraplate earthquakes against the age of the oceanic lithosphere. Figure 1c: b-values of oceanic intraplate earthquakes against elastic strain rate. Figure 2b: Depth profile of the rigidity, Lame’s constant, and volumetric thermal expansion coefficient used in our models. Figure 4b: b-values of oceanic intraplate earthquakes against the differential stress of the brittle part of the oceanic lithosphere. Figure 4c: Brittle stress release rates by the oceanic intraplate earthquakes (including the corrected values by considering the contribution of unobservable, smaller-magnitude earthquakes). Figure 5b: b-values of oceanic intraplate earthquakes against the amplitude of the stress heterogeneity.
