Working Environment of Typographers from Funen, 1981

The survey describes the physical working environment as well as the health of typographers from Funen. #Physical environment factors include: # a) light and sound conditions # b) climatic conditions # c) ergonomic conditions. #Psychological environment factors have been mapped according to: # a) monotony of work # b) intensity of work. #The health of the typographers has been described according to the incidence of such symptoms of illness as pains in the chest, respiratory trouble, coughing, pains in the stomach, headaches, and insomnia. In connection with this, the survey notes which of these troubles have been medically treated. Finally, the survey includes an examination of tools used by typographers, including various substances such as solvents
