16s rDNA sequencing of cecal contents of adult C57BL/6J male mice

C57BL/6J WT male mice were fed with normal maintenance feed until the age of 9 weeks. Then all the mice were treated with antibiotics (Ampicillin (3 mg/mL), neomycin) (3 mg/mL), metronidazole (3 mg/mL) and vancomycin (1.5 mg/mL)) once every two days for one week, to deplete the original gut microbiota. After that, the mice was divided into four group: control diet-fed mice (Control, N=6), HSHF diet-fed mice (HSHF, N=8), HSHF mice receiving FMT from control monkeys (HSHFDÃCT, N=9), and HSHF mice receiving FMT from DIHC monkeys (HSHFDÃHT, N=8). Fecal microbiota transplants once every two days for a total of four weeks. At the age of 15 weeks, Cecal contents were collected one week after FMT. Fecal DNA was isolated with the use of TIANamp Stool DNA kit (Cat.#DP328) according to the manufacturer's instructions four group. Bacterial (16s rDNA V4 region, 505F/806R) genes were amplified for Ion S5XL sequencing at the Novogene Bioinformatics Technology Co., Ltd.
