收藏资源简介:
Fuel Origin: European oil supply data — crude and product imports by origin, Hormuz exposure, stocks and pump prices Data to 2026-06. A public export of the figures published on https://fuelorigin.org, with every row naming its source: where Europe's crude oil and refined products come from, how much of them may have passed through the Strait of Hormuz, oil stocks, and pump prices with and without tax. Full monthly history for each country held, up to and including 2026-06. Countries: the EU-27 and the other European countries the site covers, where the publisher has data. Empty cell: no figure. 0: a confirmed zero. The two are never the same. What the labels mean The status column uses the labels printed on the site. OFFICIAL: reported directly by the publisher. CALCULATED: our calculation from published data. In the origin files the tonnes are the publisher's; the share and the rank are ours. ESTIMATED: our estimate from indirect evidence. It is not a measurement. NOT_PUBLISHED: there is no usable figure for this row. The publisher has not published one, or its figure is a zero that other published data does not confirm or that could only be confirmed from the Austrian trade detail left out below, or (Hormuz measures) a share cannot be calculated for the month. It does not mean zero. What the figures measure The origin files hold the energy statistics, whose partner is the country where the crude was produced or the fuel was refined. Customs statistics are not included: for imports from inside the EU their partner is the country of consignment, which is a different question. In hormuz_exposure.csv the three measures differ, so one month can show three different ranges. The figure is a range, low_pct to high_pct, because a country's oil can often leave by more than one route. There is no midpoint. Tracing a row Every figure row has a provenance_id. Ask https://fuelorigin.org/api/provenance/<provenance_id>. A row taken from one publisher's record answers with the publisher's record id, the time we retrieved it and the hash of the file. A row we calculated answers with its inputs and calculation version instead, and those inputs name the publishers' records. The ids stay the same when we recalculate. What is left out, and why A row is here only if every source behind it allows it to be passed on. A source whose licence we could not establish counts as not allowing it. Left out on that ground: Austrian trade detail at CN8 level (detail declared by Austria at the most detailed product level), and every figure calculated from it, including estimates built on pooled customs unit values. So a month a publisher withheld stays NOT_PUBLISHED here, although the site shows an estimate for it. Swiss customs data, and every figure calculated from it. So Switzerland has no origin rows and no Hormuz rows here. Its pump prices come from another publisher and are here. "Outside this file's scope" is customs-basis rows, other measures and fuels, and the United States, whose figures are in barrels on its own pages. Months after 2026-06 are in a later version and are not counted here. Pump prices are road fuels only. Their tax column is the difference between the price with and without tax; a split between excise and VAT is not included, because it is stored with a calculation that rests on a source whose reuse is not settled. sources.csv lists Eurostat's customs dataset DS-045409, although these files hold no customs figures, because road-diesel figures read it, for the same product and month, to check whether a zero import is confirmed. A 0 in the origin files rests on the same check. sources.csv lists the United States' EIA statistics, although the United States is not a reporter in these files, because road-diesel figures trace fuel last shipped from the United States through them. Licence Our output is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Upstream rows keep their licence, named per row: each row names its source, and sources.csv gives that source's licence and conditions. This version rests on 13 publishers, all listed in sources.csv with what each asks of whoever reuses its data. Calculated figures built on Eurostat data: Own calculations based on Eurostat data. Eurostat is not responsible for these calculations. How to cite Fuel Origin: European oil supply data, version 2026-06, https://fuelorigin.org/datasets, https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23940620.
