2025 dataset for dry methane reforming catalysts (DMR)

This dataset is a curated sample of experimental dry methane reforming (DMR) catalyst data extracted for the article “Toward efficient reporting for catalytic methane reforming data: a framework and review for standardized scientific data reporting” (npj Computational Materials, 2025, https://doi.org/10.1038/s41524-025-01953-3).

The main objective is to demonstrate how experimental catalytic reaction datasets can be shared in a structured, machine-readable format, using DMR as an example. Each row corresponds to a single experimental condition, and each column represents a specific parameter related to the catalyst, its preparation, textural properties, or reaction conditions. When a value is not reported in the original article, the corresponding entry is left blank.A second objective is to highlight inconsistencies in how performance data are reported in the DMR literature, especially for output variables.Missing values indicate parameters not reported in the source.
