Assemblies, Gene Catalog, and Functional Profiles from Soil and Above-Ground Metagenomes of Tropical Cloud Forests on Réunion Island

This dataset includes individual metagenome assemblies, gene predictions, functional annotations, and associated gene abundance data from 36 environmental samples collected during the Réunion Island expedition in November 2022. The samples represent three forest-component types: 12 soil samples, 14 canopy soil samples, and 10 leaf samples.
