Genome Assembly of Orestias ascotanensis (genome_mod.fa)

This file contains the genome assembly of the Andean killifish (Orestias ascotanensis) originally published in Di Genova et al. (2022) (Genomics 114:305-315). This assembly served as the reference genome for the unpublished manuscript titled 'Seasonal Transcriptome Profile Across Three Different Tissues of the Andean Killifish Orestias ascotanensis' (Manuscript ID: SDATA-24-04380) by Maldonado et al., currently under revision. The genome was used for RNA-seq read alignment, lncRNA prediction, and differential gene expression analysis across seasons and tissues.
