Dataset: Evaluating transdisciplinary methods: A new scale for measuring knowledge integration
收藏资源简介:
The dataset contains materials and results from a study that empirically developed and tested a novel scale to assess the contribution of transdisciplinary methods to knowledge integration. The uploaded files include: Literature Analysis: A systematic review of 48 literature sources, synthesizing over 300 statements related to the dimensions of knowledge integration in transdisciplinary research. This analysis served as the foundation for the scale development. Questionnaire Development: The 34-item questionnaire derived from the literature analysis, which was refined through workshops and exploratory factor analysis. Workshop/Survey Data: Data collected from workshops involving 71 participants who tested two transdisciplinary methods: transdisciplinary scenario building and serious game development. Participants included experts from three academic disciplines, as well as practitioners from the dairy and meat supply chains and game development. Responses to the questionnaire from workshop participants, used to evaluate the contribution of the two transdisciplinary methods to knowledge integration. Statistical Analysis: Results of the exploratory factor analysis, which identified two distinct dimensions of knowledge integration: a socio-emotional factor and a cognitive-communicative factor. Comparative Analysis: Data and results comparing the two transdisciplinary methods using the refined scale.
