GoiEner Smart Meter Dataset (Version 7.1)

GoiEner Smart Meter Dataset (Version 7.1) contains processed smart-meter electricity data derived from SIMEL measurements supplied by GoiEner. This release provides three complementary representations of the data: individual multi-variable time-series profiles, an annual hourly consumption matrix before normalization, and reduced public metadata. The individual profiles comprise 28,900 CSV time series, distributed across six compressed archives (profiles_part01.tar.zst to profiles_part06.tar.zst). Depending on data availability, the profiles preserve harmonized variables describing electricity consumption, self-consumption, generation, imports/exports, and reactive-energy quadrants. These profiles correspond to the processing stage before the subsequent missing-timestamp imputation used to construct the annual matrix. The timestamp convention differs between the individual profiles and the annual matrix. In the individual profiles, measurements are labelled by the end of the measurement interval: for example, a value timestamped at 01:00 corresponds to electricity measured during 00:00–01:00. During construction of the annual matrix, values are shifted to a start-of-interval convention, so that hour 00 represents consumption during 00:00–01:00. This convention facilitates direct calendar-based representation and visualization. annual_consumption_raw.csv.zst contains 145,194 annual series and 8,908 columns. Each row corresponds to a (file_id, iso_year) pair. Four descriptive columns (file_id, iso_year, full_year, and n_imput) are followed by 8,904 hourly positions, corresponding to a complete 53×7×2453 \times 7 \times 24 ISO week/day/hour grid. The matrix contains electricity-consumption values before normalization, after temporal alignment, missing-timestamp imputation, and daylight-saving-time regularization. metadata_public.csv contains one row for each of the 28,900 released profile identifiers and provides only the identifier and the two-digit CNAE economic-activity division (cnae_division). More granular supply-point and geographic metadata are not included in this release. README.txt provides detailed documentation of the file structure, variables, temporal conventions, preprocessing, and relationships between representations. SHA256SUMS.txt provides SHA-256 checksums for integrity verification. This release supersedes GoiEner Smart Meter Dataset (Version 7), DOI 10.5281/zenodo.14949245, and should be used in preference to the previous release.
