This dataset contains the software tool, input visual stimuli, and resulting analytical data accompanying the research article "InfoMap: A Semi-Automated Tool for Objective Evaluation of Infographic Style in Cartographic Design." The provided files encompass the complete methodological workflow described in the paper, including the developed InfoMap application, the categorised image samples (maps and infographics), raw extracted variables, computed metrics (Indicator Score and Layout Score), and empirical results derived from user testing. Software Tool Infomap-main.zip: Contains the complete source code for the InfoMap semi-automated evaluation tool. infomap-compiled.zip: Contains the pre-compiled, executable version of the InfoMap tool for immediate deployment and use. 2. The archive is internally structured into two main categories: The original sample comprises the baseline selection of maps and infographics used for the initial comparative analysis.
