资源简介:
This FAIRsharing record describes: This benchmark contains the full set of generic metrics defined within the OSTrails Assessment Interoperability Framework (Assess-IF), as documented in "OSTrails FAIR Assessment - Conceptual Requirements" (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18980543). Generic metrics cover domain-agnostic features of digital research objects and are therefore applicable across disciplines and digital object types without modification. They form the reusable core of the Assess-IF, allowing any community to run a FAIR assessment — using tools such as FAIR Champion or any other tool implementing the framework — without first needing to define their own metrics for principles where a generic interpretation is sufficient. This benchmark does not include specialised metrics, which must be defined by each community to address discipline-specific or object-type-specific requirements. This means that the benchmark does **not** cover the following principles: F2, the data identifier subset of F3, R1.2 and R1.3. Communities wishing to conduct a full FAIR assessment will typically combine the generic metrics in this benchmark with any specialised metrics they have defined or identified via the FAIRassist registry (https://fairassist.org/registry). This separation promotes transparency, reuse, and comparability: by clearly distinguishing what is generic from what is community-specific, the framework makes it easier to understand what is being tested, and why, and to extend assessments incrementally as community needs evolve.
