For the hydrodechlorination reaction, it is more easily inactive on Pd-based catalyst with the poor palladium dispersion. In this paper, the hydrodechlorination performance of palladium-based catalysts were investigated by introducing Pt and regulating the ratio of PdPt. The performance results indicated that the introduction of the second metal Pt could improve the hydrodechlorination performance of the palladium-based catalysts, in which the hydrodechlorination performance of the palladium-based catalysts could be optimized with a Pd:Pt mass ratio of 4:1, with the conversion of Trifluorotrichloroethane up to 56.7% at 300 ℃.Characterization results by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) confirms that the introduction of Pt results in the formation of a PdPt alloy, which leads to an increase in the metallic Pd content.Improved dispersion of noble metal species and increased content of reactive oxygen species facilitate noble metal adsorption and anchoring, resulting in the superior hydrodechlorination performance.
