资源简介:
Staphylococcus pseudintermedius is an opportunistic pathogen colonizing the skin and mucocutaneous junctions and causing pyoderma in dogs. Herein, we describe a neonatal septicaemia case in suckling puppies caused by methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (MSSA). Transmission probably occurred from contaminated bitch’s milk to her puppies. Whole-genome sequencing of four MSSA isolates revealed all isolates belonged to sequence type 241.
