Full dataset of tree cover characteristics derived from vegetation plots within the Greater Mahale Ecosystem, western Tanzania and predictor variables teste. Tree cover characteristics shown include tree species richness (number of species), species diversity (according to the Shannon Diversity Index), tree stand basal area (per plot), and tree density. Additional tabs show the response variable and their selected predictors.
