Next-generation sequencing (NGS) has revolutionized systems-based analysis of cellular pathways. The goals of this study are to analyze the difference of gene expression between wild-type and mutant during tomato fruit ripening progress. Overall design: Fruit mRNA profiles of mature green (35) and breaker (38) stages in both wild-type (A) and mutant (cr) were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina Novoseq 6000.
