GESIS Online Panel Pilot: Education and employment (survey 2)

Work and education.

This study number comprises the data collected during the so called
main studies. The main studies represent three surveys which have
partially been used for methodic experiments. The questions are
identical in every survey except for the described differences.

Topics: questions concerning work and career (scale: security, income,
reputation, self-determination, career, responsibility, contacts,
usefulness).

Demographie: highest school and training qualification; questions
concerning current occupation; work motivation; afraid of job change or
unemployment; questions concerning unemployment; success factors; prior
participation in online surveys (not asked in main study 1); questions
concerning the dwelling place (not asked in main study 1); household
size; household´s availability by telephone (land line and mobile); own
and household´s net income; job commitment; trust in other people (not
asked in main study 1); life satisfaction (not asked in main study 1);
self-reported diligence in answering the questionnaire (not asked in
main study 1); evaluation of the survey (interesting, rich in variety,
important for sciences, long, difficult, too personal); interruption of
the survey; personal remarks about the survey.

Additionally encoded: amount of the respondent´s
incentive.
