This benchmark utilizes multiple grid-world environments to simulate interactive scenarios between the target agent and other (scripted) social agents, placing emphasis on the use of language in complex and dynamic social contexts as well as sophisticated non-verbal bodily communication. The application scenarios of SocialAI include researching methods to enable AI agents to better comprehend and engage in human social interactions, as well as addressing the challenges associated with AI's social intelligence.
