Fusarium graminearum abundance in field-infested wheat grain

The aim was to analyse postharvest Blown-Arc plasma treatment to reduce Fusarium graminearum in field-infested wheat grain. Changes in abundance of F. graminearum and grain microbiome, as well as the diversity were assessed after the treatment. The fungal microbiome of treated samples were analysed using the nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) gene region through metabarcoding sequencing.
