PAPUA NEW GUINEA (2007): FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION STUDY ON CONDOM PREFERENCES IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA

A study was undertaken by Action for Community Health (ACH) on June 1st, 2007 for Population Services International (PSI) to reveal the preferences of Papua New Guineans for condoms and lubrication. As a standard focus group discussion (FGD) study, its specific objectives can be viewed in the FGD guide, Appendix A. These dealt with the major issues related to branding, condom specifications, experience with known brands, the female condom, marketing issues, experience with sexual lubricants and barriers to condom use.
