The SimpleStories dataset is a collection of short stories generated by `gpt-4o-mini` (+ other models, soon). It is an iteration upon TinyStories by Eldan and Li, and can likewise be used for distillation to very small language models. The dataset includes features such as story, theme, topic, style, etc., and has several NLP-metrics pre-computed to aid filtering. The dataset guarantees ASCII-only for the English dataset.
