资源简介:
This project provides genomic resources to investigate the evolutionary origin of predator-induced phenotypic plasticity in Daphnia sinensis. We focus on two distinct morphotypes: the ancestral round-head morphotype (R) from pond habitats and a novel, inducible helmet morphotype (P) adapted to lake environments with Leptodora predation. The dataset includes whole-genome re-sequencing (WGS) data for 63 clones to resolve the divergence history and population genomics of these morphotypes. Additionally, we provide 10 high-quality de novo genome assemblies (representing both P and R morphotypes) to characterize extensive chromosomal structural variations associated with the divergence of these two morphotypes.
