Municipal Organisation 2008, Municipality

This data set is derived from the survey entitled "Municipal Organisation 2008". The survey is conducted by the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research and was commissioned by the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development. Four similar surveys have previously been conducted, in 2004, in 2000, in 1996 and in 1995. The purpose of the surveys is to map out the work, administration and organisation in municipal and county councils. The survey is divided in two files, one covering the municipalities and one covering the counties. This is the file covering the municipalities.
