资源简介:
The One Nutrition Coverage Survey (ONCS) 2025 is a cross-sectional household survey conducted in four districts of Bangladesh, Dhaka, Rangpur, Sylhet, and Khulna, to assess the coverage of nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions across multiple population groups. The survey employed a stratified multi-stage sampling design. Within each district, urban and rural areas were treated as separate strata. In the first stage, enumeration areas (EAs) were selected using probability proportional to size (PPS). In the second stage, households within each selected EA were randomly sampled. A total of 3,280 households were randomly selected. Within sampled households, interviews were conducted with heads of households; all women of reproductive age (15–49 years), including married adolescent women aged 10–14 years; all children aged 0–9 years; and all adolescent boys and girls aged 10–19 years. To ensure sufficient sample size for estimating coverage indicators among currently pregnant women, two additional households with pregnant women per primary sampling unit (where available) were included as a learning sample. These households were not randomly selected and are excluded from coverage estimates for other life stages and household-level indicators. The survey collected data on nutrition-specific interventions, including antenatal care, micronutrient supplementation, breastfeeding and infant and young child feeding (IYCF) counseling, and growth monitoring. It also assessed nutrition-sensitive interventions such as water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); large-scale food fortification; nutrition-sensitive agriculture; and social protection programs. The ONCS dataset provides district-level estimates of intervention coverage and serves as a standardized tool to support monitoring, program evaluation, and policy planning in the nutrition sector.
