Genomic analysis of chondrosarcoma using targeted amplicon sequencing

This project involves targeted amplicon sequencing of tumor and matched normal tissue samples from patients with chondrosarcoma. A total of 13 paired samples (26 samples in total) were analyzed to investigate somatic mutations associated with tumor progression. Genomic DNA was extracted from frozen tissue samples, and sequencing was performed using the Ion PGM system (Thermo Fisher Scientific).The data were generated as part of a research study to explore genetic alterations in rare malignant bone tumors.
