Daily ground temperatures from selected sites between 2006-2018 in the Mackenzie Valley, Northwest Territories, Canada

This dataset presents mean daily ground temperature at depth between 2006-2018 from selected sites in the Mackenzie Valley corridor, Northwest Territories, Canada. Ground temperatures are measured with multi-sensor thermistor cables installed in boreholes and connected to eight-channels data loggers. The measurement system allows for a resolution of ±0.01 °C and an accuracy of ±0.1 °C. Ground thermal data is presented in comma delimited format (csv file) in folder “MackenzieDM”. Each file name refers to the site number. Daily mean temperature at any given depth (m) is reported in Celsius (ºC). A location file “SITE_LOCATION.csv” lists site number, name and coordinates (latitude and longitude).
