Number of internet shutdowns India 2024, by state

As of February 2024, there were a total 433 internet shutdowns in the region of Jammu and Kashmir of 805 overall. The western state of Rajasthan came second with 100 internet blackouts imposed. Overall, the southern states showed a more restrained approach towards internet shutdowns compared to the rest of the country.
