The MICROBE project (https://www.microbeproject.eu/) develops strategies for the preservation, isolation, and co-cultivation of complex microbiome samples. One of the project's key activities is establishing data infrastructure to provide access to related sample data (including sample metadata as well as taxonomic and functional assessment results). The project partners are the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, CABI, INRAE, Helmholtz Zentrum München, the Leibniz Institute DSMZ, European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Medical University of Graz, Sorbonne University and rtd services.
