(1) validating a novel spatial cognition assessment system and (2) quantifying multidimensional SC profiles across a large cohort of healthy adults. By addressing calls for methodologically rigorous, ecologically valid spatial assessments (Uttal et al., 2024), this work resolves inconsistencies arising from fragmented measurement approaches and establishes a novel paradigm for investigating spatial cognition dynamics in lifespan developmental and cognitive aging research.
