Scaling streamflow inputs to lakes within the ISIMIP framework (connecting Global Water and Lake sectors, ISIMIP3a)

Gridded water fluxes simulated by the global hydrological model WaterGAP 2.2e, as part of the standard model evaluation experiment (obsclim_histsoc_default) under ISIMIP Phase 3a, were used to estimate streamflow for 71 lake catchments across Sweden. This dataset provides monthly and annual streamflow (in m³/s) for each of the 71 representative lake catchments, covering the historical period from January 1, 1901, to December 1, 2019. These lakes were selected to represent a broad range of hydrological and geographical conditions across Sweden and are consistent with the lake selection criteria of the ISIMIP Lake Sector Phase 3a.
