资源简介:
PSI/U promotes PMTCT services with the goal of reducing the incidence of new HIV infection among infants born to HIV positive mothers by increasing the percentage of pregnant women who access ANC services and encourage couple testing of HIV/AIDS. In order to monitor behavior and levels of opportunity, ability and motivation for use of PMTCT services a tracking survey with women 18-49 was conducted in January - February 2005. The 2005 PMTCT TRaC1 Survey collected information from randomly selected women of reproductive age (15 - 49) in Uganda. A stratified multi stage cluster sampling design was used, which provided a nationally representative sample of 3482 respondents of whom 1686 were females. The sample was selected from 436 enumeration areas using probability proportional to size. The sample had 308 female respondents who had been pregnant in the last 12 months. Wilsken Agencies Limited implemented the data collection and entry activities.
