De novo transcriptome assembly was carried using all the mangosteen Illumina data generated by the research group from Institute of Systems Biology (INBIOSIS), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). There was a total of 20 mangosteen RNA-seq datasets (Illumina) from four experiments performed at the INBIOSIS, UKM. These include seed germination (day (d) 0, 3, 5, and 7 after sowing), seed development (week (w) 8, 10, 12, and 14 after anthesis), fruit ripening (ripening stage (s) 0, 2, and 6), and calli (non-embryogenic and somatic embryogenic).
