资源简介:

This dataset contains calibrated spectra of 5 L-type asteroids observed with the MIRI IFU on JWST, as presented in de Kleer et al. (2026) "The Surface Mineralogy of the Spinel-Rich Asteroids from Mid-Infrared Spectroscopy with JWST" Planetary Science Journal. The files are named with each asteroid name followed by its numerical designation. Each file contains five columns: Wavelength in units of microns Flux density in units of Jy Uncertainties on the flux density in units of Jy Normalized emissivity Uncertainties on the normalized emissivity The raw data from which these datasets were derived can be accessed via the MAST archive: https://doi.org/10.17909/6mzz-sx50. The calibrated spectra presented here were reduced and extracted using a combination of the JWST pipeline and custom methods, as described in de Kleer et al. (2026). The normalized emissivity was determined by fitting a NEATM thermal model to each spectrum over just the 8-24 micron range and dividing it out. These emissivity spectra do not necessarily perfectly match those shown in de Kleer et al. (2026), which are typically shown from a joint fit to composition and thermal properties, and therefore may reflect a slightly different "beaming parameter" (the key variable in the thermal model -- see paper) from the emissivity spectra included here. For each asteroid, a file is also included that contains the same information but binned to intervals of 0.05 microns (with propagated uncertainties). This file is designed with _binned in the filename.
