资源简介:
Excel-based supply-use table multiplier analysis of South African household carbon intensity measures and emissions to determine household responsibility for climate change mitigation action at an intra-national level. This dataset draws on a preliminary household classification on the basis of per capita expenditure and income, linked to full expenditures from the Income and Expenditure Surveys for 2005/6 and 2010/11 and the Living Conditions Survey for 2015 conducted by StatsSA.SUT multiplier analysis is demonstrated in Excel workbooks for each year, with integrated analysis and responsibility measures. This dataset and analysis are the underlying calculations for a minor dissertation as part of the ACDI MSc in Climate and Development: "Income inequality and mitigation burdens: An examination of climate mitigation fair shares for South African households" by James Reeler All data are derived from publicly-available datasets, and are referenced in the thesis document as well as within the files themselves.Files present: 1. 2005 SUT analysis.xlsx: Multiplier analysis for 20052. 2010 SUT analysis.xlsx: Multiplier analysis for 20103. 2015 SUT analysis.xlsx: Multiplier analysis for 20154. Analysis final.xlsx: Tables and graphs for integration into thesis5. SNA equivalencies.xlsx: Tables to enable conversion of SNA 1993 SIC classes (171 industry) to current 64 industry classes.6. CIOCOP-SU-CPC.xlsx: Tables to enable allocation of COICOP classes from IES/LCS to relevant CPC and supply-use SIC classifications. Includes automated classification with supplementary manual classification where necessary, and is limited primarily to consumption classes. Excel version: Microsoft 365 Excel version 2102 (Build 13801.20004)
