This data is produced by the RNA sequencing among the DC cells from the control, HSV-2 infected and UL41 mRNA+HSV-2 group, The DCs were differentiated from spleen lymphocytes of the mice on days 1 and 7 after challenge with HSV-2. For mRNA+HSV-2 group, female BALB/c mice aged 4 weeks were immunized twice with an HSV-2 RNA vaccine (UL41) , 28 days apart, in the gastrocnemius muscle, The control group and HSV-2 group were injected with an equal volume of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). After 28 days of second vaccination, mice in UL41 mRNA+HSV-2 group were challenged by HSV-2, the spleen lymphocytes of the mice on days 1 and 7 after challenge were collected to induce their differentiation into dendritic cells (DCs) for transcriptome sequencing.
