Ten volunteers walked along a five meter long walkway within two pairs of two consecutive force plates. They accomplished eight different conditions when imitating the gait of the humanoid robot LOLA in three different factors: speed, posture and mass distribution. Here, two constant walking speeds (~1.3 m/s: “normal” and ~0.5 m/s: “vlola”), two postures (upright and crouched posture: “groucho”) and two mass distributions (normal and added mass on legs: “m”) were combined and evaluated. The subjects completed between 5 and 10 trials per condition. For each condition kinetic and kinematic data were collected.
The humanoid robot LOLA walked 8 times over the same setting.
