Ease of doing business in North American countries 2020

As of 2020, doing business in North America was the easiest in the United States. The United States scored 84 points, the highest among 23 North American countries and the sixth highest in the world. Canada and Mexico followed, with 79.6 and 72.4 points. Worldwide, Canada and Mexico ranked 23rd and 60th, respectively. By contrast, Haiti and Grenada received the lowest scores in North America and some of the lowest scores among the 190 countries taken into consideration for the study.
