Geopolitically Driven Economic Disintegration: A Bibliometric Dataset from Scopus and Web of Science

This dataset contains the bibliographic records of 2,709 unique academic documents on geopolitically driven economic disintegration. It was created for a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the field. Data was retrieved in September 2024 from two major databases, Scopus and Web of Science, using a detailed search query designed to capture literature at the intersection of economic flows, geopolitical drivers, and disintegration dynamics. The raw data was filtered to include only peer-reviewed articles and reviews in the field of Economics. Duplicate records were removed using the bibliometrix R package and manual screening.
