Being a Parent of an Adolescent: A Qualitative Study (Coding Data)

Narrative inquiry was used to collect data. An in-depth interview guide was created which was reviewed by three Ph.D. scholars. The interview guide contained questions that elicited responses with regards to changes in the parent-adolescent relationship, communication, and the stresses faced by parents as their child transitioned into the period of adolescence. <br> Participants were made to fill out a consent form and a demographic form after which the interview was conducted. Permission to record and publish the data was taken prior. <br> Clarke and Braun (2007;2017) was used to analyze the data. This current data is the coding sheet created for mothers and fathers separately. It contains statements from the interviews and their relevant codes <br>
