We employed a single nuclear RNA sequencing approach to study intestinal failure associated liver disease (IFALD) in a preclinical murine model of short gut syndrome. To understand pathogenesis of IFALD, we performed single nuclear sequencing of murine liver tissue from an preclinical murine model of short gut syndrome. Overall design: 8 week old male mice were subjcted to 75% proximal small bowel resection and compared to sham operated mice (transection and re-anastomosis). Mice were feed a liquid diet ad lib (Test Diet LD101). Mice were harvested at the 2 week time point. Liver samples were taken from the left anterior lobe and stored in RNALater at -80C. 6 samples (3 sham and 3 SBR) were selected for single nuclear sequencing.
