Bald Cypress Xylogenesis Data and Tree Ring Chronology

This data was collected for use in a xylogenesis study on bald cypress in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The water level and temperature data was collected with Simpson Swamp (33.229°N, -87.655°W). Water level and temperature data was collected using HOBO U20L pressure transducers with one hanging in the air within 100 meters of the site and another in the water. Data was downloaded from the pressure transducers twice, once in August and once in November. This data is provided in the form of two .csv files, one for each HOBO pressure transducer. The file for the pressure transducer hanging in the air is titled "barohobo.csv" and the one that was in the water is titled "InWaterHobo.csv". The tree cores used in the ring width chronology were collected at the Sipsey Forever Wild site along the Sipsey River (33.230°N, -87.766°W). This chronology is in .rwl format and titled "Sipsey_TADI_chron.rwl". The xylogenesis data is listed as the number of developing cells identified on a punch core taken from each tree at each sampling date. This number is the average of three radial files counted per punch core. This data is in a .csv file titled "Dev Cell Counts.csv".
