This directory contains data associated with the Morgan et al 2010 metagenomic simulation work. The subdirectories contain the following information:<br>raw_reads - Read data generated by paired-end sanger and pyrosequencing methods, along with quality files, and reads screened for vector and quality<br>taxonomic_assignment - Assignment of reads to reference organisms, including blast hits and scripts for processing them<br>unassigned_analysis - BLAST searches of unmapped reads against the NCBI NT database, MEGAN assignments of reads to taxa<br>L_lactis_comparison - Comparison of the two Lactococus lactis strains using Mauve genome alignment to determine whether reads are distinguishable between the isolates.
